BARNSTABLE — The Waterways Committee heard proposed 2027 harbor fee increases and took no vote on them. Harbor Master Brian Taylor proposed raising the annual mooring fee from $135 to $150, with secondary and rental moorings each rising $25, and a flat $15 per use at the Blish Point ramp. Marina slip fees would rise $10 a foot in the final year of a three-year phase.
Taylor said the fees need Town Manager approval after a separate hearing. The committee voted 4-1 to accept May 19 minutes, reelected Paul Everson chair, and elected Greg Egan vice chair and Todd Wolantis clerk secretary. Resident Paul Phelan said he counted "four empty floats and 21 empty spots" at a town landing.
